Company Profile

We are a small, custom, seven-man shop, located on the North Shore of Nassau County, Long Island. We are makers of fitted cabinetry, architectural woodwork, and fine furniture.  ~ All our work is meticulously created and assembled by hand ~

We strongly believe in keeping alive the time-honored tradition of the craft. We combine old techniques and tools with modern equipment and materials to create the most up to date trends in design, or to recreate the old and traditional.

This holds true in our drafting department, where all renderings are hand drawn. This allows us much greater control over the subtle details and proportions of each piece. Many of our creations incorporate the use of veneers, such as crotch mahogany, exotic burls or rare tropical woods .Our philosophy is to use beautiful materials in the construction of each piece of furniture, and allow the wood to speak for itself. Today, painted kitchens, baths and built-ins are very much in vogue. Our cabinetry is hand painted using alkyd enamels, the texture of subtle brush strokes imparts a truly handmade look, and is more easily repaired than a sprayed urethane finish.

We are equally comfortable working in either traditional or contemporary styles and we can design your project or work from your drawings.

Brian and John together have more than  65 years of experience and compliment one another uniquely to provide their clients with design/build/Instal experience that is second to none! Their skill sets are a perfect combination for creating beautiful custom cabinetry that is meticulously installed.

~ John, who opened the shop in 1986, started doing woodwork as a marine carpenter, remodeling the interiors of many of Long Island’s beautiful yachts. He then parlayed his skills into becoming a premier furniture and cabinet maker supplying many Long Island homes with magnificent kitchens, bath vanities and built-ins.

~ Brian has 34 years of woodworking and remodeling experience. He started installing kitchens and remodeling homes in the mid-80’s and eventually added custom furniture and high end millwork to his portfolio.

Over ninety percent of our work is based on referrals from our satisfied and repeat clients.
